July 1970: We Are The Management

Reg Walker writes:  This photograph appeared in SO Review  August 1970, and was taken at the retirement of Kath Crisp, who joined HMSO on 13 June 1924. That’s exactly 82 years ago for those arithmetically-challenged readers. It was obviously taken in the conference room adjoining the Star Chamber — sorry, 6th Floor Sovereign House. Left to right: Thomas Shorrock Harris, Jack Richardson, Robert Fielding Norris, Margaret Ann Allen (or was she Margaret Ann Lee by then? Possibly, as she could well be looking at her shiny wedding ring), Arthur John Edward Jennings, Robert John Vincent, ‘Roy’ Keavney, William Noel Greenaway, Kathleen Maud Crisp, Henry Alfred Barrie, Adriane Helene May, Frank George Gibbs.
