Hi Reg, I hope everyone is well. We are both OK but it’s very cold here. Durban has had thick snow which, thank God, has not hit us at Cape Town. We have never, in the 24 years we have been here, known it to be such a cold miserable winter.
What is happening in the UK Reg? Every day on Sky it is stabbings or sex scandal in the BBC. At least we do not have that much trouble here. Although most people thought we were mad to come to such a terrible place, I have never experienced any problems at all.

Hello Norma, Good to hear from you. Not so good to hear about your weather conditions. It rained in Norwich last night, but generally, we have experienced a hot June. Norwich Lord Mayor’s Procession took place over the weekend. Very much a toned-down affair from the excitement of the 1986 event, when George Rokahr organised the HMSO Float.
I know what you mean about the News over here. Just listening to it now. Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse – it gets worse. Good to hear that you are experiencing no troubles over there. Keep going, and long may the positives last.
