Reg, I came across this photo whilst doing some Golf Society housekeeping (for my sins I am the Society Secretary). It was taken at Bawburgh Golf Club in June 2023. The occasion was the first appearance of the Society’s lovely new (Pantone Blue, we believe) shirts – after 109 years we bit the bullet and went ahead and decided it would be a good idea if we had shirts. You cannot rush these things as you know.
Not sure where the others got to, but those in the photo are, left to right:
Clive Evans, Alan Burden (neither HMSO), Derek Newton, John McKain, Ron Atkins, Mike Taylor, Geoff Roff, Keith Williams and Brian Puplett.
The smiling faces confirm that this was taken before a ball was struck.
