Roy Plackett writes: Yes, the ‘Friday Club’ is still going strong after some 30 years and ‘oldies’ certainly applies to our lot! We put it down to good company, real ale and keeping regular — the latter applies especially to Pete Bradbury. We meet at least once a week keeping on the move between various hostelries to prevent ejection. Wayzegooses are arranged from time to time in local breweries, some even further afield to Spain, Belgium etc. In April 2005 we met up with Jim and Ross Richardson (Manchester) in Dublin where the Guinness brewery provided some goodness. Featured in this photo, some just making it back to dry land, are: Eric Davie(CCTA) Pete Bradbury, Allan Reid, Glyn Jones, Roy Plackett, Cecil Hughes, Jack Sayers (millionaire) and Tom Smith. (Roy Marchant and Paul Cornelius were absent). Cheers!
