1941 – 2025
The Eastern Daily Press dated 7 January 2026 contained the sad news that Tony died on 24 December 2025.
Tony was born on 23 August 1941 and joined HMSO on 26 August 1957. He worked in Production HQ, Norwich, as Payband 9.

Alan Pawsey adds: Sad news of Tony Riordan who worked for me as part of the Residuary HMSO, based in St Clements House, until he reached retirement age (60) in August 2001. His main role was the day to day management of the key print/publishing contracts that we had let to the privatised company, TSO. He got on well with everybody including Carol Tullo who went out of her way to ensure that she was in Norwich on the day of his retirement.
