The sad news that Glyn died, in a Nursing Home in Norwich, on 30 April 2023 was reported by Terry McCrum.
Glyn joined HMSO in January 1963, working in Print, Cardiff, and being promoted to Industrial Personnel Division in Norwich, where he worked as Grade 7.
Glyn’s funeral will be held at Norwich St Faith Crematorium, Horsham St Faith, at 1.30 pm on Tuesday 23 May 2023. Online arrangements can be seen here.
Gerry Aldus adds: Really sad news Reg. Glyn was such a popular man who brightened the room wherever he was. I first met Glyn as a programmer in Norvic House when, in the early 1970’s, I joined a close-knit, highly talented team which included Pat Tate also recently appearing in the obits. Our careers kept us in close touch over all the years.
Glyn always had a smile on his face, and was enthusiastic about life and all it brought him – work, sport, and the company of his many friends (with whom he enjoyed the very occasional pint).
He always spoke with pride of his family and of Wales, celebrating every success of his Country’s many teams.
I count myself very lucky indeed to have known such a lovely man.
