Jane Henderson passed on the following sad news to HMSOldies on 5 June 2025:
‘Julia’s husband Tony has just called me to let me know that Julia had a stroke yesterday and died late this afternoon. He specifically asked me to contact you as a way of letting her former colleagues in Print Procurement/Tactica know this very unexpected news.
‘I met Julia when we each became the Quality Manager for our respective divisions, probably before privatisation. We remained firm friends long after we left those jobs and I saw her only very recently, so news of her death is a great shock.
‘Tony will let me know the funeral arrangements in due course and I will pass these on.

Julia joined HMSO Norwich on 28 January 1974 and worked as AO in Business Supplies.
