John Betts has passed on the sad news (below) that Ken died on 15 April 2025.
Ken joined HMSO on 30 September 1985, and worked as AO in BS, Britannia House.

I recently received the sad news from Ken Sheehan’s wife Dee that Ken died on the 15th April.
Ken and I became good friends back in the 80s and I used to visit him occasionally in Benfleet where he lived with Dee. He likewise would visit and stay in Norwich over the years. Ken’s health had been up and down in recent years, with various visits hospital. I last spoke to him a couple of months ago, which was quite difficult because his hearing had seriously deteriorated. We had talked of Gwen and I visiting Ken and Dee this Spring, but alas fate conspired against us. I don’t think I had fully grasped just how unwell he had become until Dee phoned me about his passing.
I will always remember him for his wicked sense of humour and good company, as I am sure others who worked with him, will remember.
