Margaret’s brother Arnold Allen telephoned with the sad news that Margaret died on 1 October 2022, eighteen months after her husband Brian Lee died at their home in Devon.
Margaret joined HMSO in 1955 following a spell working at MAFF. She was promoted to HEO in 1966.
Leon de Brunner adds: So sorry to hear about Margaret Lee. We were together in Bunhill Row before she moved to Norwich before she was married.
John Eason adds: Sad news indeed. She was a lovely lady. First met her when she was a member of a project team together with Arthur Brunwin and Sid Brookes. She was a good netball player, and I have played against her on several occasions!
