The sad news that David died on 27 September, after nearly two years in a Nursing Home in Chelmsford, came from his wife Betty.

David joined HMSO in May 1993, straight from a successful career in business, specifically to steer through the innovative Banner brand of stationery. He was always helpful, approachable and cheerful, and added a touch of style to many customer presentations.
