The sad news that Anne has died, in a Norwich Care Home, came from John on 8 June 2021. John and family had been alerted of her condition, and had visited her during the week.

Anne joined HMSO, having been awarded BA (Honours) at University of London, in July 1964. She worked in S4 (Office Supplies) Atlantic House, along with John Eason, who she was to marry, subsequently leaving HMSO to become a mother to their four children. They lived in Chelmsford when John worked in Basildon, and they subsequently moved to Norwich, where Anne re-joined HMSO in May 1988, working in PS and Publications, from which she retired pre-privatisation.
