We received the sad news, via Rod Durkin, that Viv died on Saturday 8 June 2019 – seventeen days before what would have been his 97th birthday.
His funeral is at 2 pm on Weds 26 June at Earlham Crematorium.
Viv joined HMSO in January 1957 as a Clerical Officer in Establishments Division, London. He moved to Supplies Division and worked on the Paper procurement section as EO for many years.
He is survived by his two daughters, one of whom – Valerie – worked with HMSO, latterly in Publications Division.
His passion for trams and tramways will be fondly remembered by his many old friends.
