The sad news that Jeanne has died, following recent periods of hospitalisation in Norwich, came via Cecil Hughes.
Jeanne joined HMSO Sovereign House as a typist on 19 December 1977. She progressed to Personal Assistant to several members of Directing Staff including Office Services, where Alan Cole remembers her ready wit, vibrant personality and helpful attitude.
Sue Whitaker adds: I remember that she had the most wonderful husky voice.
John Eason adds: A real character and a lovely person.
