The sad news that John died on 14 June 2019, six months before his 90th birthday, was reported in the Eastern Daily Press on 19 June 2019. Funeral arrangements can be found here.
John was born on 25 December 1929 and joined HMSO in February 1983. He was appointed Director of IT Division in Norwich, and Doug Kerry speaks for all who knew him when he says that ‘John was a true gentleman, and it was a pleasure to work for him.’
