We received the following sad news from Sue Lea on 16 August 2021:
‘Margaret passed away on 9 August 2021 at NNUH aged 85. She joined HMSO Norwich as CO in July 1968 and worked in P&B, CEPA and, after promotion to EO in 1976, PS.
She will be remembered for her determination to overcome her medical problems (including nine hip replacements). Those who worked in P&B in the late 1960s will remember Margaret’s Apple Pies every Friday.
Colleagues also remember her caring attitude when working in Travel and Subsistence and when helping staff to relocate.
The cremation is at Earlham Cemetery, Norwich, at 11.45 on Friday 27 August 2021.’
