The sad news that Adrienne died on 10 May 2020 appeared in the Eastern Daily Press on 22 May.

Adrienne transferred to Norwich during the original Dispersal, with her sister Valerie, who worked in Supplies Division until retirement and continues to live in the Poringland area.

Adrienne moved from the Computer Division of HMSO to CCTA Gildengate House upon formation and is fondly remembered by colleagues Andy White and Kevin White, among others.

In 2004 the Bailey Family featured in the NHS The Pulse Magazine (below) when HM Queen came to Norwich to officially open Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and chatted to Pearl Bailey, then a patient aged 101, and her daughters Val and Adrienne.

Val Bailey adds: Late August/early Sept, if Covid19 allows, a happy gathering of friends will be arranged when a glass (or two) can be raised in her memory, probably in Hempnall. If anyone remembers her and would like to come can they please give me a call on 01508 499 234 or [email protected] with their contact details and whether they will be bringing a partner so I can let them know details. May, of course, have to be even later in year!
