Sad news received from Jean Maskell, via Sue Whitaker:
Mary Brown died on Wednesday 5th August, of pancreatic cancer, just 6 weeks after she was diagnosed.

Mary joined HMSO on 1 November 1983 and worked in Registry with Rita Tuttle before transferring to IT as EO where she worked on the Supply System Project Project with Ed Crickmore, Mick Hardy, Liz Wright and computer systems contractors. By the time Mary retired both her children had left home, so she decided to move back to Penzance to help to look after ailing relatives.
Mary was a keen badminton player and walker. For the last 20 years she and Jean Maskell (also ex IT and Supply System Project) had had a week’s walking holiday in the UK. In fact, this year’s holiday had been planned but had to be cancelled owing to Covid-19.
